New Building Supervision

For over 25 years we have supervised the construction of over 320 vessels of various types, at leading shipyards around the world. Our clients benefit not only from our vast experience with new building supervision projects, but also from our in-house knowledge and expertise regarding the implementation of new technical, commercial, and fuel-efficient designs.

We supervise the building of Super B-Class vessels which are dual fuel and methanol ready, meeting the highest possible automation and emission standards, as well as complying with the IMO regulations on emissions and sustainability for environmental protection.

At various stages of the project the input and consideration of relevant financial, technical, operational, commercial, technological and environmental aspects is required and at Columbia Group we can offer clients a “one-stop” turn-key solution. Our experience with different ship types includes the building of Product and Crude Oil Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Reefer Vessels, Bulk Carriers, Bitumen Tankers, LPG Carriers, Container Vessels, Multipurpose Heavy Lift Carriers Bunker Supply Ships, Offshore Supply Vessels and Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels.​ Our New Building Management team have experience in the design and New Building Supervision of pipe layers, cable layers, jack-up and semi-submersible drill rigs.
