We are seeking to recruit a Commercial Officer, in our offices in Limassol, Cyprus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing correct and timely monthly and quarterly invoices for POCR and OneLink companies
- Compiling data for customer invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data.
- Sharing invoices with customer and follow up on approval status.
- Compiling data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and ensure receipt of goods and service.
- Maintaining the POCR & Onelink Companies purchasing and invoicing filing system and manage records of prices and discounts and credit.
- Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained.
- Follow up process of invoice both internal (Columbia) and external (Onelink Companies).
- Prepare contracts and agreements and ensure timely follow up.
- Weekly reporting commercial activities of POCR and Onelink companies
- Manage day to day administrative tasks of POCR and Onelink companies.
- Working closely together with other entities such as Fameline, Oceanly etc.
- Controlling and monitoring the budgets and business plans in close cooperation with the Group Director (DPO).
- Assist Group Director (DPO) with business development activities and follow up with prospective leads / clients.
- Assisting Group Director (DPO) with the budget proposals at the end of each calendar year to the vessel owners (through commercial teams). Relevant issues must be followed up until the new budget has been agreed and approved.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A university degree and 1 year of experience in a shipping company, or 3 years of experience in a corporate environment.
- Good leadership, controlling and communication skills as well the ability to work within the team;
- Good command of the English language.
