Travel Manager
The Travel Manager shall have the following qualification:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in marine and corporate ticketing
- Excellent command of the English language
- Good computer knowledge
- Leadership, organizational and communication skills
Job Description
The Travel Manager is responsible for:
- Being adequately conversant with the Company’s management system;
- Having the overall overview of the travel group;
- Controlling and monitoring closely the travel arrangements;
- Ensuring that the travel group is providing the most competitive travel arrangements including hotel reservations and ground transportation;
- In cooperation with the Acting Group Director Crewing Commercial:
- Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers
- Prepare reports and analysis on flight costs.
- Ensuring that debit/credit notes and refunds of unused tickets are properly checked and followed up in a timely manner;
- Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
- Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement and innovation;
The Travel Manager reports to and is accountable to the Top Management.
