The Travel Consultant shall have the following qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in air ticketing either with an Airline or with a Travel Agency.
Formal secretarial education or the equivalent training
IATA Certificate or Course in Travel and Tourism or Travel Industry work experience.
A good command of the English language.
Typing / basic computer knowledge

Job Description

The Travel Consultant is responsible for:

Experience in handling marine crew /corporate travel.
Providing competitive and suitable travelling arrangements;
Arranging hotel reservations, car rentals, taxi transfers where necessary.
Handling reservation/cancellation/queries from the client via email and calls.
Knowledge of GDS and web-based airline reservation system.
Understanding of basic visa rules and travel regulations.
Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System.
Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
