Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Data & BI Developers
• Develop and maintain a big data platform for maritime data
• Work with the Microsoft Azure Stack to deliver cloud-based solutions
• Leverage cloud scalability and flexibility across projects
• Integrate data from multiple sources
• Process and prepare data for a standardized enterprise schema
• Provide solutions for project enhancements and client requirements
• Support end users in adopting applications
• Deliver training and ensure smooth implementation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the BI Architect or Team Leader

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of SQL;
• Experience with relational databases is a plus.
• Exposure to ETL pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and relevant tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
• Experience working with Azure technologies is a plus.
• Analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Strong team-oriented working attitude and task management capabilities
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Interested in learning new cloud-based technologies and architectures

Strong plus:

• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages such as Python.
• Process knowledge of the maritime ship management industry.
• Familiar with big data tools (Spark, etc.).
• Version control (Git).
