Junior Associate / Finance, Reporting & Treasury
Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a Junior Associate / Finance, Reporting & Treasury in Limassol Cyprus, to support the finance and reporting team with the preparation and review of various reports and results for various stakeholders of the Group.
Responsibilities:
- As an Analyst you will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of the financial strategy required to fuel the fast-paced growth of the business.
- Work with the Group Finance team to design and implement the financial strategy of the Group and its subsidiaries
- Supporting strategic planning and business planning processes whilst being a key part of creating and delivering the Group’s Business Plan
- Preparation of reports and presentations presented to the Board including ownership of supporting analysis
- Support management on business structuring and new investments/projects analysis to support the company growth strategy
- Build valuation or project analysis models to assess new investment opportunities
- Production of analysis for key Senior Management based on financial models
- Assists in the mapping, loading, reviewing of results and reporting of companies in the Group consolidation platform
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts for reporting to financiers and other stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of workings and reconciliations in relation to the consolidated financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of report specifications (financial and non-financial) for implementation in the Group Consolidation software by the System Administrator.
- Various other adhoc task relating to reporting and financial accounting
Requirements:
- Excellent academic credentials with a numerical based background with strong desire to build a career in Finance. Economics, Finance, Accounting degrees are preferable but not mandatory.
- Master degree in Finance or Economics will be considered a plus but not essential.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills whilst demonstrating attention to detail
- Experience in Financial modelling experience will be a considered a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint OR Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and a flexible attitude to working hours.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
