Job Description
Columbia Group is seeking to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the effective implementation of people-related processes, policies, and initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, payroll, and organizational development.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resource Management and/or relevant Human Resource Management qualifications;
- Experience in Human Resources of at least 5 (five) years in a similar position;
- Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Excellent command of the English language.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
- Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
- Create and maintain HR budgets and resources for the department.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including creating job descriptions, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Develop and maintain effective onboarding and orientation programs.
- Oversee employee development and training initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Develop and administer employee recognition and reward programs.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a resource for employees, addressing concerns, conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Handle disciplinary matters and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with all labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain HR records, including personnel files and confidential employee data.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, benefits administration, and job evaluations.
- Regularly analyze market trends to remain competitive in the industry.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Use data to drive informed decision-making.
