Software Developer (Mendix platform)
We are looking for an experienced Mendix Developer to join our expanding software development team. You will help design and build scalable low‑code applications that support our business processes. This role is ideal for someone with Mendix experience and strong interest in low‑code development.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Mendix applications using Mendix Studio Pro
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements
- Build domain models, microflows, pages, and integrations
- Ensure application quality through testing and debugging
- Support existing applications and resolve incidents
- Participate and contribute to Agile ceremonies and team collaboration
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Mendix Intermediate Certification preferred.
- Understanding of low‑code concepts and Mendix architecture.
- Experience building microflows/nanoflows, domain models, security models, and integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs and basic data modelling.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and shipping operational processes.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software development studies or Mendix certification.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, CSS, or cloud platforms (Mendix Cloud, Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Mendix Atlas UI or custom styling (SasS/CSS).
- Knowledge of workflow automation and Mendix Marketplace components.
- Understanding of process optimization and efficiency
- Familiarity with performance measurement tools, KPIs and reporting
- Experience working with digital maritime platforms
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, or automated testing tools.
