Blue Dynamics is the software development and implementation entity within the COLUMBIA group, providing the group for more than 10 years with comprehensive information system and application integration solutions. As a Software Developer at Blue Dynamics, you will work with a team of developers on the support and development of shipping related software applications and projects as well as on the integration of 3rd party components into the software stack. The primary work assignment will be in Limassol, Cyprus – occasionally travel may be necessary for a project or visit of another office within the COLUMBIA network.
Required skills:
- University degree in Information Technology
- Experience with the Microsoft .net Framework and languages like C#, VB.net
- Experience in Web development and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational or object-oriented databases like SQL Server, MongoDB
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Team player and the ability to work within a multicultural environment.
- Self-motivated and a strong service orientation
- Good communication skills and analytical capabilities
Strong plus:
- Verbal and written fluency in Greek, Russian and/or German
- Business knowledge of the maritime industry
- Experience in the field of ISV developments (Software Development Partners)
- Experience in DB optimization techniques
- Experience in Microsoft DevOps and Cloud Architecture
- Understanding of micro service architecture
- Experience in Mobile App development along various frameworks
- Open approach to R&D and new technologies in order to extend the development capabilities.
