Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project phases are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Legal and/or M&A Expertise: Leverage on your legal or M&A background to provide valuable insights and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Scope Definition: Work closely with all stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status, milestones, and key developments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Top Management, external partners as well as internal legal, finance and operational teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in project execution.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to allocated funds. Provide timely updates to the finance department.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and progress reports. Prepare comprehensive project reports for management and stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes and workflows, contributing to the overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Shipping, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Management Position preferably in shipping industry.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, contract law and M&A processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent command of English language.
