IT Project Coordinator

Columbia Group is looking for a responsible IT Project Coordinator to administer and organize various types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with the project management team performing various coordinating and administrative task. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
This is a full-time position based in our office in Limassol, suitable for motivated people who enjoy working in a challenging environment and have a passion for technology and its ability to transform business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our project management team preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources and timeframes for projects;
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources and information;
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget;
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks;
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants;
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan;
  • Monitor and analyse project progress handling any issues appear and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results;
  • Prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that the goal of the project is being achieved;
  • Make sure stakeholders needs are documented and included in a transparent change management process;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, minutes, plans and reports;
  • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field;
  • 2+ years of proven experience in project coordination or in a similar role, demonstrating successful management of projects from initiation to completion;
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage resources, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions;
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations;
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate issues, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed;
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various levels of management;
  • Basic supplier management experience to coordinate 3rd party resources including budget control.

Skills that will be considered as an advantage:

  • Professional certification (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2);
  • Experience in managing/coordinating IT projects;
  • Experience with project management tools;
  • Abilities to present and train/ teach IT related subjects.
